The Military Museum´s Manege and the Artillery Manege

You can get to know the colourful phases of Finnish military history in the exhibitions of the Military Museum located in Suomenlinna. The exhibitions in the Military Museum´s Manege and in the Artillery Manege will take you from the Finnish Civil War of 1918 onto the struggles of World War II and on to the 21st century.

Exhibition in the Military Museum´s Manege tells about the four wars Finland has fought during it´s independce: the Civil War in 1918, the Winter War in 1939–1940, the Continuation War in 1941–1944 and the Lapland War in 1944–1945. 

In the Artillery Manege there is an exhibition called Altered by War about Finnish WW 2 frontline art...

...and an exhibition showing the life of a soldier in both wartime and peacetime.

In addition, there are changing exhibitions on various topics.
