Guided tours in July 2026

Finland at War guided tour in the Military Museum´s Manege

Availability: 6th of July till 31st of July, Monday and Friday at 13.00

The guided tour provides an overview of the military and war history of Finland and concepts of the Finland at War exhibition through key museum objects and themes selected by the guide.

The guided tours start at the Military Museum’s Manege, next to the ticket booth. Please register for the tour, when you arrive at the museum. The duration of the tour is approximately 30 minutes and the tours can accommodate 20 people. The guided tour is included in the museum ticket price.

Guided tour Altered by War in the Artillery Manege

Availability: 8th of July till 29th of July, Wednesday at 13.00

During the tour, the guide introduces the visitors to the Altered by War exhibition and the illustrations drawn by the Information Company men during the Continuation War (1941–1944). Enjoy a guided tour to the Altered by War exhibition and explore the artworks linked to the themes of home, nature and friendship.

The Military Museum's exhibitions were awarded the STF label on 22 December 2025

At the end of 2025, the Military Museum's exhibitions completed the Sustainable Travel Finland programme, at the end of which it was granted the right to use the STF label in recognition of the work done for sustainable tourism. Read more about sustainability.
